Kevin ''KEV'' Brockschmidt is a full-time freelance humorous illustrator (try saying that ten times fast!) from Renton, Washington. His cartoons appear monthly in STARLOG Magazine and he can often be found wandering aimlessly at local science fiction conventions. Formerly a newspaper advertising artist, he has extensive experience illustrating for magazines, newspapers, and t-shirts, as well as many other miscellaneous media including books, greeting cards, and coffee mugs. Truly an international artist, he has had work published in Brazil, Canada, Germany, Japan, and Mexico.

After a two-year stay in Japan, Kev now resides in Renton with his wife, Tami, 10-month old daughter Sarah Joy, and a matriarchal cat, Tobi.
