"The Royalty Agent" Part 3

An Eddie Peece story by Peter Oakley

Bernley launched his view tool, and soon we were staring at a 24bit hi-res of the anime girl, and now I had to agree she was very sweet. My eyes were drawn to a hand-written note in red, in a lower corner of the picture. It read: "Wrenny, my love, I have succeeded in finding Bob's back door! It was so easy - a talkative programmer on contract with the Interface Group. (Oh, what AWFUL doggie breath!) When we meet RL @ El Ranchito, we'll share tacos and plan our next move. I love you, and isn't this fun!"

And the message was signed: SENU, Princess of Pixels. "Share tacos?" said Bernley. "Weird." I thought it was pretty weird too. Pretty lame actually. Princess of Pixels? That sounded like a handle for some deep-in Lambda MOOster playing "Let's Pretend." I wasn't into it.

The message was signed: SENU, Princess of Pixels.

However, this cryptic reference to the Microsoft Bob GUI was curious. I sent Berns off to see what he could find on the net concerning "El Ranchito," and I went to bed.
